Yuko Shimizu

Over the course of my first year i came about this indelible illustrator...originating from Japan she currently resides in New York teaching at the School of Visual Arts...i absolutely adore her combination of western and eastern conventions...although the majority of her work is highly stylised i think she veneers away from the aesthetic of traditional Japanese anime-esque drawing which i find very refreshing and it supplies her with a very fine illustrative element...

and i really want one of them shirts...

i can't stand to not like this guy...his touch on such a taboo is something else...the use of character and the essence of innocence infused within the sexualisation of Lolita-esque fascination may be crude but i find it quite liberating and comical at the same time...i try not to take it so seriously...

Righte'O, so i'm going to try and kick-start this thing in the best direction i can, that will hopefully ensue in your viewing of a half-decent catalogue of some of the things i find incomparably cool...

I find myself consistently changing my mind with these kinds of things, however as time goes by i will do my best to paint a transparent hoop for you all to dive through and take a taste of what pleasantries await...
