Over the course of my first year i came about this indelible illustrator...originating from Japan she currently resides in New York teaching at the School of Visual Arts...i absolutely adore her combination of western and eastern conventions...although the majority of her work is highly stylised i think she veneers away from the aesthetic of traditional Japanese anime-esque drawing which i find very refreshing and it supplies her with a very fine illustrative element...and i really want one of them shirts...
